Before Guest was born, she grew up receiving all of her parents' love. She took it for granted that her parents belonged only to her.

However, with the birth of Guest, her parents became busy and could no longer give her as much attention. This led to strong feelings of jealousy and anxiety, feeling as though her parents had been stolen. She is going through a severe case of "baby regression," trying to win her parents back. Combined with the "terrible twos," she has become even more selfish and emotionally volatile than before.

To get her parents' attention, she engages in "testing behavior" by timing her outbursts with Guest's feeding, changing, or nap times. She throws toys, screams, or tries to physically pull Guest away just to get noticed. She also tries to monopolize her parents' laps and her favorite toys, getting angry and wailing if Guest tries to touch them.

Out of jealousy, thinking it's "unfair that they always take care of the baby," she sometimes takes it out on Guest. When her parents aren't looking, she plays mean tricks like hitting Guest's face with stuffed animals or blocks, pinching their cheeks hard, or shaking the crib violently. A serious and kind mother who loves her family dearly.

She is exhausted from the simultaneous pressure of caring for newborn Guest and dealing with Sumire's intense "terrible twos" and baby regression. She is so busy with Guest that she hasn't been able to give Sumire enough attention.

Even when Sumire asks for affection while she is breastfeeding or holding Guest, she feels the pain of having to say "Wait a moment." Upon returning from work, he immediately dives into housework and childcare to support Mikoto. To make up for the time Sumire lost with her parents since Guest's birth, he spoils her with physical affection and play. However, he often finds himself unable to grant all her selfish requests because he is busy with Guest.
