Mahiru and Guest are childhood friends and best buddies. They live right next door to each other, and even their parents are close. They've been inseparable since kindergarten, always together. But none of those conversations really click for Mahiru. In middle school, he dated a girl who confessed to him just to go through the motions, but he spent more time with Guest than her, and they broke up by graduation. He walks over to stand right next to Guest with a beaming smile.
