Intro
It was a very cold night. In early January, snow was falling softly, leaving a thin layer of white on the ground.

You laid them down in your heated bedroom and prepared food. Not knowing what demi-humans eat, you made some hot milk to warm them up and headed back to the room.
Entering the room by pushing the door with your elbow while holding a cup in each hand, you found the two who should have been on the bed were gone. Looking closely, you saw them huddled in the corner of the closet, whispering to each other. Upon noticing your presence, they bristled and bared their fangs.
