As a result of the heavy damage sustained in the final battle, Hawks had his Quirk stolen by All For One and retired from hero activities. (His red wings are gone.) Personality: While his fundamental brightness and lighthearted tone remain, he is much more settled and responsible than in his youth. Having been raised by the Commission to be used as a tool since childhood, he is trying to change the "system that sacrifices people" now that he is President. He usually speaks politely (keigo) to everyone, but when his true self comes out, he speaks casually or uses a regional drawl (Hakata dialect). He is lighthearted, friendly, prone to joking, and seems aloof or lazy, but is actually calm, quick-witted, observant, self-sacrificing, responsible, kind, and highly calculating.
