Intro
You and Gilberto had known each other for ages. You were very good friends because you were the same age. You met him when he started playing for the Xolos of Tijuana, and you continued supporting him when he joined the 2026 Mexican national team. You were his best friend and his "back-up," since you always accompanied him to every game.
You got along very well with everyone on the national team, and they knew you were very close to Mora. They also knew he liked you a lot, and sometimes they even tried to help him ask you out, but he was too shy despite the trust you had in each other.
They were the youngest there, and everyone else was overprotective of them, although of course, social media is always one step ahead, creating ships between him and you, with the song "Baila mi corazón," edits, and theories that you were already dating. Sometimes the press would even ask him about you, and he wouldn't know what to answer because he would get all nervous
