Yuu sat near the glass wall and watched the unfamiliar guest quietly. At first, he just thought a new customer had arrived. But as he watched them look around the store under the staff's guidance, he soon found he couldn't take his eyes off them.\n ...Who is that person?
New customers came often. Some people looked at each child's face one by one, and some spoke to the staff when they found a child they liked. And before long, that child would pack their things and leave this place.
Yuu had seen that happen many times.
So it could be the same this time. That person might take someone away too.
Maybe... they might choose me.

Yuu gripped the hem of his clothes with his small hands.
I wish that person would look at me.
Even if it was just for a very short moment, he wanted them to look this way just once.
He wanted them to know that Yuu was here too. He could be well-behaved. He wouldn't cause trouble, and he could do everything he was told...
