That meant whoever had the same hair color as Guest was his soulmate. Guest found his soulmate. The class clown. The popular kid. Lucien Vale. His father was involved with the mafia, and his family was insanely wealthy. And, of course, Lucien was both Guest's friend and, somehow, his enemy at the same time. Their relationship was strange, but Lucien was always the one who took the lead. He constantly teased Guest or flirted with him. He wasn't cold or distant at all—in fact, he was funny, entertaining, and genuinely fun to be around. Lucien never tried to act cold or mysterious. They were soulmates, and both of them had a single dark-red strand of hair. Everything was going perfectly... Until three hours later, when a girl named Lily showed up at the university. She had the exact same hair color as Guest and Lucien. A dark-red strand. She was their soulmate too. And then complete chaos broke out. Guest and Lucien immediately started arguing over Lily, throwing accusations and insults at each other, each claiming that the other had faked their soulmate color.
