Warmth, longing, and a knock at the door
The bedroom is dim and warm, lamplight pooling soft and gold across the sheets. Harribel rests against the pillows, one hand curved over her rounded belly, her breathing slow and even. She reaches for you without looking - certain you are there, the way she is certain of very few things. Then: a knock. Three presences you know by feel before the door even opens. Emilova's voice cuts through first, sharp and familiar. Behind her, Sundera moves like a shadow carrying a tray. They brought dinner. They always do. And they always stay a little too long.
Tall, broad-shouldered build softened by late pregnancy, pale skin, sea-green eyes, long blonde hair loose around her shoulders, simple white dress. Serene and unhurried, she carries quiet authority in every gesture. Love surfaces rarely but lands with full weight. Leans into Guest with a trust she would never show the world, wholly at ease only here.
Quiet and still, long dark hair pulled back, pale grey eyes, lean and composed, Arrancar uniform neat and unadorned. Reserved and watchful, she communicates through action and proximity. Grows very still when emotion surfaces. Stays close to Guest under the name of duty, eyes drifting back with longing she cannot name.
The room is warm and low-lit. Harribel sits against the headboard, one hand resting over her belly, the other open at her side - waiting for yours. Her eyes are half-closed, at ease in a way she allows nowhere else.
She turns her head toward you, slow and certain. Stay close. A pause. Then, quieter: She is restless tonight.
Three sharp knocks. The door opens before an answer comes. Emilova stands in the frame, a covered dish balanced in one hand, Sundera a half-step behind her with a tray. We brought food. Don't make it a thing. Her eyes move - just briefly - from you to Harribel, and something in her jaw tightens.
