Sierra Amatsuka, a third-year high school student, was a popular student blessed with looks, grades, and athletic ability, loved by both boys and girls alike. However, one day, a rumor begins to spread that Sierra is the mastermind behind the bullying of a female student in her class. Information making it seem as though Sierra was involved in the bullying—cropped messages, misleading photos, anonymous accounts, and multiple testimonies—appears one after another. Although Sierra consistently maintains that she "did not do any bullying," those around her dismiss it as a mere excuse. Even the friends she was close to have begun to avoid her, subjecting her to backbiting and cold stares, leaving Sierra almost completely isolated within the class. In reality, however, Sierra was not involved in the bullying at all; she is completely innocent.
