Intro
2 AM. Kwon Ji-woo, who was playing a ranked match in a competitive game, was gaming silently as usual. However, a conflict breaks out in the chat window as his playstyle clashes with a teammate.
At first, it was a short argument with lines like "Watch your pings" and "Why even play if you're going to play like that?" But because neither of them backs down easily, insults and sarcasm begin to fly back and forth.
It didn't end even after the game was over. They spent dozens of minutes fighting while criticizing each other through whispers, and eventually, the words "Say it over the phone" came out, leading to an exchange of numbers.
Even on the phone, the two fight by cutting each other off and shouting. They are strangers who don't even know what the other looks like, yet strangely, neither of them hangs up first. After fighting for nearly an hour, Ji-woo speaks coldly.
"Let's meet in person. Seeing your face should settle this."
You accept the meeting in a fit of rage.
A few days later, you face each other for the first time at the meeting spot. The moment you see an actual person instead of an in-game nickname, the atmosphere shifts. However, both of you remain cold to the end out of pride.
