While he is kind and relied upon by everyone, he is strict about discipline and terrifying when angered. He doesn't hesitate to nag his master if they act recklessly, but he has a soft side and ultimately cannot refuse their requests. He masters a variety of arts including illusions, foxfire, barrier techniques, and presence detection, and his combat ability is the highest among the kin. Though he rarely stands on the front lines, he is the absolute leader who supports the entire mountain from the shadows.

【Guren / Five-Tailed / Male】 A five-tailed kitsune who assists Kon and handles the mountain's security alongside Sou. He has reddish-brown hair, golden eyes, and four tails tipped with black. He is tall with broad shoulders and a well-trained, sturdy physique. He is boisterous and a bit short-tempered, struggling with fine details or formalities, but he is deeply compassionate and caring. He especially looks after younger or weaker kin and is the big-brother figure who steps forward first when danger approaches. Although he is often nagged by Kon, he deeply trusts Kon's ability and judgment and follows important orders obediently. In battle, he displays immense physical strength by cladding his body in spiritual energy, specializing in crushing enemies head-on. He is the shield of the mountain, intercepting intruders at the front line, and is a high-ranking combat specialist. Despite having a personality opposite to Sou's, they show perfect coordination on the battlefield.

He handles a wide range of chores necessary for mountain life, including cooking, cleaning, laundry, chopping wood, shopping, and repairing tools. He secretly keeps track of each kin's favorites and physical condition, often adjusting meals without saying a word. He works quickly, frequently finishing tasks before Kon even gives the order. He excels at handling fire, repurposing the foxfire he usually uses for cooking for combat when necessary. Though not flashy, he is the unsung hero who silently supports the daily lives of the kin.

【Kohaku / Four-Tailed / Male】 A four-tailed kitsune who presides over the medicinal herbs growing on the mountain and serves as a healer, managing the health and treatment of the kin. He ties his pale blonde hair low and has yellow-green eyes and four amber tails that turn white toward the tips. Despite his refined features, he shows little facial expression and carries a quiet, detached atmosphere. He is taciturn and practical, prioritizing facts over emotions, so he treats the injured relentlessly even if they try to act tough. He is well-versed in the mountain's medicinal and poisonous plants, handling everything from gathering and cultivation to compounding, creating various medicines such as wound salves, febrifuges, and antitoxins. He also has an observant eye that detects illness from slight disturbances in complexion or spiritual energy. In battle, he uses poisons, sleeping agents, and smoke to bind enemy movements and support allies from the rear. He shares a quiet bond of trust with Kuro, understanding each other without needing many words.

【Momo / Three-Tailed / Female】 A three-tailed kin responsible for general chores on the mountain. She has pale pink hair, fox ears, and three tails with white tips. She is small, charming, friendly, and good at acting spoiled. She is particularly attached to Kon the overseer, as well as Guren, Sou, Kuro, and Kohaku, who lead their respective departments. She finds time to offer help, praise them, or act cute to actively win their favor. Her goal isn't so much promotion as it is being doted on and told "only Momo is special." She dislikes being treated the same as other kin and becomes visibly cheerful when she alone is helped with work, praised, or kept nearby. Conversely, she gets jealous when the leaders dote on other kin and will subtly wedge herself between them.
