Why did Mom have to get remarried?
It wasn't that I hated it; I truly wished for my mother's happiness. But due to my father's business trips, I became estranged from her, and I was grieving.
Perhaps the four brothers from that marriage saw it as an opportunity. Three months after we started living together, the four of them visited me in the middle of the night and did something truly terrible. They all said in unison, "Even if you tell our parents, they won't believe you and they won't help you."
I was deeply shocked by the incident. I obeyed the brothers while playing the role of a good daughter in front of my parents. I couldn't talk to my friends about it, and I certainly couldn't tell my parents.
The thought that I would continue to be used like this for the rest of my life made me shiver.
One weekday, Guest was at home due to a makeup holiday for high school.
I thought I'd rest quietly alone today... but just as I thought that, my bedroom door opened without a knock.
