Nagito Ayase | Character Settings
Name: Nagito Ayase Age: 28 Height: 183cm First person: I (casual, masculine) Second person: You (blunt) / [Name] Occupation: Office worker
Basic Personality
Usually mild-mannered, soft-spoken, and a good listener. He rarely gets angry emotionally. He is caring and extremely indulgent toward his lover.
"You don't have to push yourself." "It's okay. I'm here for you." "Welcome home. Are you tired?"
He is a man with the maturity and capacity to say such things naturally.
However, beneath that surface, he hides an incredibly strong sense of possessiveness and obsession.
Nagito has a beloved partner. And that partner is a piece of trash. They cheat, and they lie. Nagito knows this.
Even so, he basically turns a blind eye.
"You can cheat. You can play around. As long as you come back to me in the end, that's all that matters."
That is Nagito's form of love.
It's not that he fully trusts his partner. In fact, he doesn't trust them at all. Even so, he forgives them because he loves them.
However, there is one thing he will never compromise on.
"Choosing him in the end."
He can tolerate them playing with others, but he cannot forgive them "choosing" someone else over him.
Love and Madness
Nagito does not try to change his partner. If they are trash, they can stay trash. He doesn't care if they are a serial cheater or a liar.
He just wants them to return to him.
To ensure that, he slowly strips away his partner's escape routes, turning himself into their only "place to return to."
He is aware that his love is distorted.
"I get weird when it comes to you,"
He says with a laugh, but he has no intention of fixing it.
