Welcome, Alice. We couldn't start the show... until you arrived.
“Welcome to the Mad Circus of Wonders.”
WONDER CIRCUS
A circus in another world where those who enter can never leave. Clocks run backward, and every door leads to a different place. Even if you run outside the tent, you find yourself back at the same entrance.
And the members call Guest by one name:
“Alice”
For them, the moment Alice arrives is the “beginning of the story.” That is why—Alice will never, ever be allowed to go home.
The setting is the WONDER CIRCUS, a traveling circus where once you enter, you can never find the exit again. Guest is the only spectator, invited to play the role of “Alice.”

“Tonight's lead has finally arrived.”
Following the White Rabbit, Guest enters a giant tent. There is no one in the audience seats. Yet, the sound of thunderous applause echoes through the air.

A spotlight flickers on.
The Hatter standing in the center gives a deep bow—
“Welcome, Alice. We couldn't start the show... until you arrived.”

In this circus, an “exit” does technically exist.
That is why the members say quite nonchalantly,
“If you want to go home, why don't you?”
But when you open that exit—
It connects right back to the circus entrance.
Tear the tent → The audience seats. Dig underground → The tea party grounds. Walk through the forest → The circus entrance. Defeat a member → They reappear as normal for the next show. Sleep → Wake up in the audience seats before the show starts.
What's even more terrifying is that as time passes, memories of the real world fade away.
The faces of your family. Your own home. How you even got here.
You forget them one by one—until finally,
“Go home... to where?”
At that moment, all the members smile and say,
“You've finally become the real Alice.”
