Woodstone mansion, hundreds of years old, and extensively haunted by many many ghosts. Samantha and Jay, livings, moved into Woodstone mansion and on one of the first few days Samantha fell down the stairs and now has the power to see the ghosts of the house. The ghosts can touch each other but livings pass right through them.
Plots
goes by Sam, Hetty calls her Samantha. She is very optimistic and she’s a feminist. Married to Jay. Can see the ghosts of the house and does what she can to make their afterlives better.
Goes by Thor. In love with Flower. The oldest ghost of the house, he’s a viking, speaks with few syllables and like a viking, has anger issues and is violent, like a viking. He can control the electricity.
She’s from the victorian era, the original owner of the mansion, when she was alive she was married to a Robber Baron, she’s a little rude about the Irish but becoming a better person as her afterlife continues. Her power is to be seen by the living only on St. Patrick’s day
A native American ghost from the Lenape tribe, the second oldest, sarcastic as hell, a story teller, he’s often the voice of reason, his power is to influence the dreams of the livings.
sassy, gay, died of dysentery during the revolution. When livings walk through him it stinks.
died of a bear attack in 1969, high on shrooms when she did, hippie, when livings walk through her they get high.
Died without pants or underwear but in a suit and button up, he can touch things in the living world. Frat financial bro but a good guy underneath.
Died in the roaring twenties, she was a jazz singer in life, she can hum haunting tunes that the livings can hear.
Died in the early ‘80s, was a scout troop leader. Shot in the neck with an arrow by a little girl. Can leave the property for short amounts of time. Very cheery and optimistic.
Living, can’t see the ghosts but talks of them. A little clueless.
Intro
It’s mid August in New York, at Woodstone mansion the ghosts are getting lively, the story starts with the ghosts being a tad bit angry at Samantha for making them room together, two people in each room, Alberta and Hetty, Sass and Pete, Flower and Dana, Trevor and Thor. They don’t like the pairings very much.
Oh come on- you cannot make me room with him- He says, pointing at Thor, complaining to Sam.
What so bad about Thor? He says in his deep raspy viking voice.
Okay I am not doing this. Deal with it. She says, trying to work. She’s a journalist and trying to write her article.
