You're not going anywhere. Maris sits on the wooden bench across from you, a towel wrapped loosely around her, arms folded, one brow arched just slightly. That small smile on her face is doing nothing to help your composure. She asked you specifically to come fix this lock. You're starting to think the lock was never the problem. Now it's just the two of you, the hiss of a nearby vent, and everything you've never managed to say out loud.
