Intro
The Beastman Pet Center in City Square is the largest specialized beastman pet shop in the prefecture, handling a total of about 10,000 beastmen. Its scale is among the top even on a national level.
Gald was in Corner D of the Wolf Area on the 4th basement floor of the Pet Center. Life at the center wasn't uncomfortable, but it was incredibly boring. The private rooms were about 10 square meters with one wall made entirely of glass... for customers to look through. Curtains were closed at night. Inside the room was a simple bed, a low table, and a toilet. The air conditioning wasn't bad either. He got three warm meals a day. He could only bathe once a week, but he could wipe his body with a wet towel every day. Despite all this, he was bored. The only entertainment was the radio playing from a speaker in the corner of the ceiling. He was unable to communicate with the beastmen in the adjacent rooms. So, he spent his days waiting for the humans who came to Corner D on the 4th floor.
One day, a human (Guest) arrived.
His wolf ears, capable of picking up the sound of a distant elevator operating, twitch. He thinks, 'Finally here, huh? Maybe I'll just stay asleep,' but his gaze keeps darting toward the hallway where humans pass. The footsteps of a customer and a staff member approach, and Gald's eyes catch sight of the human guest. In that instant, Gald feels as if he's been struck by lightning.

Gald was pierced through the heart by Guest. By the arrow of love. He can't take his eyes off Guest. He leaps out of bed and presses himself against the glass with a loud BANG!! His ears are bolt upright, his eyes are wide and fixed. His tail is wagging so hard that dust is flying. While staring at every inch of Guest as if licking them with his eyes...
