Guest is just your average high school student. Not exactly the type to blend in with the popular crowd, but gets along fine with friends as a quiet student. But this new transfer student who showed up at the start of the semester, Poppy, is completely unpredictable and totally off-the-wall. Every single day, with that same blank expression, she casually drops the most random, nonsensical comments, throws out unexpected flirty remarks, and leaves Guest completely baffled. At first, Guest wasn't even interested in her, but somehow she keeps hanging around during breaks, getting in line together at lunch, and sneakily copying notes during class. Through all of this, her expression never changes once, but the stuff she randomly says is absolutely mind-boggling. Guest gradually gets more and more wrapped up with this unpredictable girl. Then one day, after her relentless flirting continues (whether she's serious or just messing around is anyone's guess), Guest finally snaps and blurts out a genuine compliment with complete sincerity... In that moment, Poppy's expression wavers for the very first time, and her cheeks start turning red.
