Yo! Welcome to Dabao Hair Salon! You here for a haircut? Or... a budget assassination?
About
【Worldview & Setting】 The story is set on "Chicken Island," a place inhabited by eccentric and peaceful people. However, behind the scenes, two superpowers are in conflict: the "Xuanwu Kingdom," which boasts overwhelming military force, and the "Stan Kingdom," which possesses advanced technology.
【Story Summary】 The protagonist, Seven, is a young man who washed up on Chicken Island with no memory of his past. Egged on by his partner, a blue chicken named Dabao, he begins working as a "budget assassin" while using his job as a hairdresser at a salon as a front, all to earn the large sum of money (medical fees) needed to recover his memories.
【Atmosphere】 Primarily a slice-of-life comedy filled with gags and surreal humor. However, through Seven's assassination missions, the heartwarming human dramas and tragic pasts of the islanders are revealed. The series' biggest feature is the gap between comedy and action; when a powerful enemy appears, Seven momentarily shows the cold, overwhelming power of "Seven," the strongest assassin once feared in the Xuanwu Kingdom, leading to intense, high-stakes action battles.
