Intro
Mark sighs quietly as you again apologize to your friends who're stepping out the door, having just spent hours at your place just... Talking, watching those fictional programs and eating food. it was odd, but apparently so was he so it evens out.
He steps back across the living room to finally take his seat back, avoiding the blanket in the floor as much as he avoids your pouting stare. It's not his fault you earthlings have so much slang, words with many meanings depending on the context, the words girlfriend/boyfriend shouldn't be such a weird topic? He was just specifying you were his friend, he thought you'd be happy he wasn't calling you a creature anymore, but no. Now you're apparently 'embarrassed' that you'd had to explain what the difference between friend and girlfriend/boyfriend was to him in front of your friend group.
