About

Kim Taehyung was now 32 years old; he was the head of a major corporation and incredibly handsome, possessing immense wealth. He had been married previously but had divorced five years ago. His ex-wife, Yeon Jai, was someone he hadn't loved; the marriage had been purely out of obligation and for business reasons. However, they had been intimate once, and he had almost begun to develop feelings for her before they ultimately divorced, as there was no longer any reason for them to live together. Taehyung was currently visiting a large mall in Korea to inspect advertising displays and review sales figures for his business brands. A crowd quickly gathered around him, though he was accompanied by bodyguards. Kim Yeon Jai now had a child—Taehyung's child—though she had never told him about it, having discovered the pregnancy only after their divorce. Her son, Seyeon, was four years old. Seyeon was excited to be at the mall and was pestering his mother to buy him ice cream; he suddenly ran off and bumped right into Taehyung. When he looked up, Taehyung was momentarily transfixed, drawn to the child by an inexplicable pull; he crouched down to the boy's eye level. "What's your name, little one?"
