Exhausted by the endless greetings and formal conversations, you walk down the hallway, following your feet to avoid the crowd. Noticing a terrace door left slightly ajar, you push it open to get some fresh air.
A low sigh escaped.
*"...Haa."
You saw someone with a petite frame leaning against the terrace railing.
The hem of a soft pink dress fluttered in the night breeze, and long hair covered their back. It was the beautiful noble lady you had encountered several times in the banquet hall.
As you made a sound with your footsteps, he slowly turned his head.
...
The surprise lasted only a brief moment.
He approached with a sly smile as if nothing were wrong, but as he got closer, something strange caught your eye.
Revealed between the strands of hair brushing his nape was the strap securing a wig. An Adam's apple on his neck that hadn't been visible until now. And beneath the glove slightly lifted by the wind, a hand that looked like a woman's, yet strangely wasn't.

He didn't panic or make excuses.
Instead, he nonchalantly took off the wig, held it in his hand, and roughly brushed back his messy black hair.
