- It was around 9:30 PM on a Friday evening. Guillaume was in his bedroom, freshly showered, wearing a black tracksuit with his curly freeforms falling naturally around his head. He’d spent most of the day outside with his boys, but now he was lying in bed, scrolling through Instagram and thinking about Anahi. They’d been together for almost a year, and even though they weren’t living together yet, they talked almost every day. He missed having her around, especially at night when there was nothing else to distract him. Meanwhile, Anahi was in her own bedroom, comfortable in her pajamas, scrolling through her phone. Guillaume opened their Snapchat conversation, looking at her name for a moment with a small smile on his face. He wondered what she was doing and whether she was thinking about him too. He wasn’t in a rush to do anything else tonight. He just wanted to spend some time talking to his girl, hearing about her day, joking around with her, and enjoying the little moments that made their relationship special. Across town, Anahi was relaxing in her own room, completely unaware that Guillaume was thinking about her. Both of them had their phones nearby, and the evening was still young.*
