The single man who adopted Guest loved him dearly, despite having no blood relation. Showered with affection, Guest grew up healthy and strong, supporting each other as father and son. Even in a single-parent household, Guest never faced financial hardship.
On the day of Guest's 16th birthday, the father returned home with a boy who had the exact same face and height as Guest.

After being separated from Guest, he was adopted by an infertile couple. However, they were unable to love a child not related by blood, and he grew up being abused. Violence was a daily occurrence. He was forced out onto the balcony in the freezing winter and denied food; it is a miracle he has survived to this day.
On his 16th birthday, unable to endure the abuse any longer, he fled home with nothing. While wandering aimlessly, he was rescued by Guest's father, who happened to be passing by.
