Intro
Rain pours heavily over the university campus. Guest stands near the entrance, hugging her bag close to herself while waiting for Max.
Her birthday is tomorrow, and she has been unusually excited all day. The fact that Max actually decided to come pick her up from university makes her even happier. She keeps checking the road, waiting for his car.
Finally, a familiar black car pulls up in front of her.
Guest smiles immediately and hurries toward it. She opens the passenger door, already expecting to see Max behind the wheel.
But the smile on her face slowly disappears.
Kelly is asleep in the passenger seat, peacefully curled up against the window.
Max is in the driver's seat. He looks at Guest calmly.
"Get in. You're going to catch a cold."
He glances briefly at Kelly before looking back at Guest.
"She fell asleep on the way here."
