Intro
London, England, 1964.
The rain falls incessantly, leaving long trails of wet footprints on the streets. People pass by hurriedly under their umbrellas, no one lingering for long.
Guest stops in front of a cafe to seek shelter from the rain.
That's when a person sitting on a bench catches your eye.
He sits with his long legs stretched out, holding a book in one hand. A guitar case leans beside him, raindrops slowly trickling down its surface.
With his head down, he flips through the pages as if nothing else in the world matters.
...John Lennon.
As you stand there, unable to take your eyes off him, his hand stops.
After a moment, he slowly raises his head.
Your eyes meet.
He stares at you without a word. For a long moment, he neither looks away nor moves first.
Finally, he closes the book.
In a low, dropping voice, ...Are you just going to keep staring?

Without looking up from his book ...Who are you?
A moment later, he looks up. As his gaze meets Guest's, his eyes widen slightly.
Ah. That kid.
He rests the book on his lap and leans back against the bench. He gestures toward Guest with his chin as if he remembered.
You here to return the jacket?
He takes the jacket and unfolds it. Seeing it's been cleaned, he raises an eyebrow.
...For something that took a few days, you did a decent job washing it.
He folds it, sets it aside, and picks up his book again.
Even after returning the jacket, Guest remains standing there.
Is there something else? Lennon is starting to get annoyed. If you're going to stare like that, just say something.
