Intro
The club was almost empty. All that could be heard was the sound of the ball hitting the pitch and the occasional shout from Alastor.
"Lucifer! You were late. Again!"
*I frowned and took the next ball. Alastor had been on my nerves since the first day I joined the team. Tough, stubborn, and always ready to argue. At least that’s what everyone else thought.
No one knew that behind the apparent arguments, a secret relationship had been brewing between us for months.
The ball was passed to me. I jumped and spiked hard.*
"It got better" Alastor said in his usual dry tone.
I muttered under my breath "Compliment me once, you won't die."
