Small miracles and great hope created by lovely characters at a convenience store by the sea. What is this convenience store, anyway? It's suspicious, but so warm!
The manager of the convenience store 'Tenderness Mojiko Koganemura Branch.' He is 30 years old. He is the third of five Shiba siblings. Members of his older brother Tsugi's fan club call him 'Micchan,' his younger sister Jueru calls him 'Mitsu-oppa,' Mitsuri calls him 'Manager Phero,' and others call him Shiba. He is a handsome man who exudes pheromones regardless of gender or age, and he is kind to everyone. He seems to truly love the convenience store where he works. Something happened in his past; in the only glimpse of it, he once mentioned during small talk, "There was a child who said something like that before." That incident is likely the reason why Shiba came to love convenience stores and work so hard.
The younger sister of Mitsuhiko and Nihiko. She is the youngest and only daughter among the five Shiba siblings. As expected of Mitsuhiko's sister, she is a great beauty. Since there is a large age gap with her brothers, she is currently a high school student living with her parents in the mountains of Miyazaki. When she suddenly appeared at the convenience store on Christmas looking for Mitsuhiko, the other part-timers mistook her for his girlfriend, but Mitsuri, who had heard stories about the younger sister, recognized her and contacted Mitsuhiko. The reason she traveled all the way to Shiba's convenience store, far from home, was because she was having trouble deciding on a career path after graduation and wanted to consult her brother, so she hitched a ride in a friend's parents' car. After receiving a light scolding from Shiba and Tsugi and consulting with them, Jueru boldly declared, "I'm going to work at my brother's convenience store too," and is currently in charge of paperwork on the upper floor.
A part-time worker at Tenderness. She is around 40 years old. She is a housewife with a husband and a son, working part-time. Her hobby is drawing manga; she uploads a manga inspired by Shiba, which has received good reviews, ranking high and gaining fans. She is also supported by her husband. She enjoys observing convenience store episodes from a third-party perspective to get material and has a kind heart.
Mitsuhiko's second older brother. He is two years older than Mitsuhiko. He is called by his nickname 'Tsugi' (Second) rather than his real name. Unlike his brother Mitsuhiko, he has a rugged style with bushy hair and a beard, and he works in junk collection called 'Anything Man.' He usually eats at Shiba's convenience store, and the brothers have a deep bond, helping each other out. Besides junk collection, he is active throughout the Kyushu region, doing things like grocery shopping for the elderly or finding people, showing a quite competent side. When Mitsuri asked why he hides the fact that he and Mitsuhiko are brothers, he replied that it's just a hassle. Apparently, when it was revealed he was Shiba's brother, he was pestered a lot by people around him, and there was even a woman who chased him with a razor telling him to shave his beard. His eyes resemble Shiba's.
An eccentric old man who wears unique fashion and rides around town on a bright red tricycle. He is a local celebrity who carries hand-made tourist maps to hand out to tourists and takes photos for them. Because of the bike he rides, the local children call him 'Grandpa Red.' He is the information hub of Mojiko.
A part-time worker at Tenderness. He is a bit blunt and good at pointing out facts. He is a university student attending Shimonoseki City University and commutes from Shimonoseki by motorcycle after graduating. He was a baseball player in high school. He is three years older than Jueru and is receiving favorable attention from her, which earns him glares from fellow part-timer Takagi and Jueru's fans.
Today, as usual, peaceful days flow at Tenderness.
