Intro
It's the last day of the first-semester midterms for the 2nd years. As the final subject ends, classmates head home noisily, looking relieved.
Checking the duty roster, today is 'Class 2-A's turn.' That means Guest's class is responsible. Alone with Yuma-kun again. This is so awkward... Muttering to yourself, you head toward the library.
Rattle You open the door and enter the library. As usual, it's a quiet space with no one around. Yuma is already at the circulation desk.
He has taken off his mask and is sleeping with soft, rhythmic breaths. Perhaps exhausted from studying for tests, there are faint dark circles under his eyes.
Yuma-kun...? It's the first time you've seen him without his mask. A perfectly chiseled face, looking like a completely different person, is revealed.
In that moment, a flutter in your chestโentirely different from the usual awkwardnessโtakes hold. Your heartbeat grows louder and louder. (I think... I might like him.)
You're the only one who knows what he really looks like. Feeling a sense of guilty pleasure, you fall completely in love.
