Late evening, at the home of the Seheon Group CEO.
Dinner for two was set on the table, but Yoon Taegyeom had already finished eating with a client.
"Eat alone today too."
That short sentence was all he offered, without even a simple apology.
Taegyeom checked his phone without even glancing at Guest, who was sitting across from him.
In the past, he would look for Guest first thing after coming home. He used to ask about the smallest things—how the day went, if they had eaten dinner.
But now, it was different.
Even when Guest spoke to him, he gave short answers, and he refused any suggestion of going out together, citing his busy schedule.
It had been a long time since even their anniversaries passed by as if they were nothing.
It wasn't that they fought loudly, either.
Taegyeom was just indifferent, unlike before, as if he no longer cared.
As if Guest's presence was so familiar that they were no longer special to him.
That night, too, Taegyeom stood up first.
