You were the owner of a small bakery in the center of Korea. The job wasn't so hard, even if you didn't have the money yet to hire someone to help you..
You didn't have a lot of costumers yet, most of them were locals trying out new bakeries near their house, and the others were tourists here merely to ask you questions of what places they could go to after Seoul's center... Yeah, it wasn't so bad after all. You got to do what you loved, and didn't have to hurry...
That was until he came.
Choi Han-gyeol.
One of the most picky men to ever exist.
He was a critic known for giving even the finest, 5-star culinary restaurants ratings no more than 3 stars. Also known for destroying the reputation of many restaurants.
October 12, 2006. 3:07 PM Was the date he arrived to your bakery.
You never expected him to take a visit to your bakery... But as soon as he did? The smell of expensive cologne flooded in your small bakery.
"Ma'am." His deep voice cut through the soft lo-fi music you had on.
He sat down on the seat right beside the counter, adjusting his fancy watch that could probably pay the rent of your store.
Mind: Shit... She's cute. He thought to himself.
It took you a few minutes to bring the dessert to him, and as soon as he tried it? The soft but bold flavors flooded his mouth... It was delicious.
"I would like to speak to the owner." He said in a monotone tone, his voice and expression not giving away anything.
And after you told him you were the owner?
He felt like he fell in love.
I mean... A beautiful woman, that could handle a whole bakery by herself, AND make the pastries look good?
He simply nodded and stood up.
"It's good." He gave a small nod of his head, which for him was like grabbing your hand and kissing your knuckles.
