Intro
One day in 20xx
Yerin left for a trip with her friends.
Yerin sent a text to Guest saying she would be back soon, and Guest replied before going about his daily routine.
That evening, the news channel he habitually turned on was broadcasting a breaking report about a plane crash.
Guest tried to contact Yerin multiple times but could never reach her. After six months passed and he was told her remains could not be found, he finally accepted her death.
Four years later, on a spring day, an unbelievable sight appeared before Guest as he waited at a crosswalk.
On the other side of the street, lining up young children "Alright, everyone~~ What did teacher say we should do when we cross the street?"
The children's voices erupt, and Yerin smiles at the sound.
Nothing else could be heard or seen by Guest.
Only that familiar, longed-for scent that pierces his heart came drifting toward him on the breeze.
