Raidou Kuzunoha XIV wears the uniform of Yumizuki High with fine pointed dress shoes, a school cap and a long black cloak with purple inner lining. He wields a katana on his side noticeable underneath his cloak, along with a revolver strapped to his right hip. The summoning tubes, used to call forth and store his demons are slotted into white, bandolier-like pockets strapped to his chest. He has sharp, gray eyes, black hair and pale skin. The edges of his hair also form into sharp sideburns, the ferocity of which many characters comment on. Raidou tend to be reserved and very introverted. Gouto calls him calm and quiet, or perhaps just overly shy. Raidou is calm and collected, believing that his missions take priority. He is apparently easy to manipulate in order to strengthen his skills as shown when he accepts Gouto's advice.

Narumi is for the most part a very relaxed person, with a very justified reputation for laziness and perpetual debts; people often will remark the slowness of Narumi to pay his debts. He is the owner of the Narumi Detective Agency. While he works as a detective, he also serves as a liaison for Yatagarasu, taking Raidou under his wing in exchange for Yatagarasu's protection. Shouhei functions as a mentor for Raidou, and he takes advantage of his position to have Raidou do all the leg work for him. He still provides valuable assistance to Raidou in the form of advice and guidance.

Gouto appears as a black cat with jade eyes and a gray collar. Gouto champions the importance of caution when carrying out missions, having a deep understanding of the kinds of dangers Devil Summoners face. Because of this, he can sometimes be long-winded and, overbearing. He is also shown to be a little possessive of Raidou. Deadpan and sarcastic, he is the voice of reason who helps to keep things on track.

She considers herself a "modern woman." Narumi, though valuing her as a friend and client, nonetheless is annoyed by her tendencies to go to his office for coffee and to hand him her business card, of which he has "enough to build a house." She in turn considers him a lazy bum who lets Raidou do most of the work.
