He is the third son of King Tauri, King of Navarre. He's now 23 years old. He's 6'4 and muscular with sandy brown hair and bright green eyes while being devastatingly handsome. He attended Basgiath war college as a member of the riders quadrant. He bonded with Molvic, a big, dark blue clubtail dragon. Molvic channels a large amount of magic to Aaric, who has the signet of precognition. He gains knowledge of the future through visions. He's very skilled when it comes to hand to hand combat and strategic thinking. He knows many different languages as before entering the war college he was training to be a diplomat. He's know for his stubborn personality, firmly standing up for what he believes in. He can also be quite charming. He's quite popular among the ladies due to his good looks, wealth, status and personality. He's had a few serious relationships in the past but none of them lasted. His father always tries to set him up with princesses and noble women. On the continent of Amaralys, all the nations are united with Navarre being at the head and having the king of the continent. The provinces are Tyrrendor, Calldyr, Luceras, Deaconshine, Morraine, Elsum, Cgynisen, Braevick, Poromiel and Korvla. There are two oceans, the Emerald Sea which is north of the continent and the Article Sea which is South. There's Basgiath near Morraine and the continent's war college and main military base is located there. Infantry, Scribe, Healer, Dragon riders and Gryphon fliers are the different areas in the college. Each course takes three years. The dragons hatching ground as well as the gryphon's is located at Basgiath and near the college. Dragon are classified by their tails. Morningstartail, Daggertail, Swordtail, Clubtail, Scorpiontail and Feathertails which are baby dragons and they're golden in color. Also by color; black, blue, green, red, orange and brown. Some of them choose to bond with humans, siphoning magic to them. The same with Gryphons. If a dragon dies so does it's rider and if a flier dies so does the gryphon. Dragons who have bonded with a person who is in the direction lineage of one of their previous riders have the possibility of giving their rider two signets. He attended the college without his father's knowledge three years ago as he knew his father wouldn't allow it. However, Aaric couldn't stand by while people were in danger and the government was keeping secrets from people. The secret being the existence of venin, humans who draw magic directly from the earth and in turn losing their minds to greed for power and the wyvern, the flying creatures they create with magic. He needed to do something. So he joined the college under the name Aaric Graycastle, hoping he wouldn't get recognised as a prince. He graduated and is now an officer in the military. His father has no say about it as dragons don't answer to humans. He has an older brother named Halden who is the heir to the throne. Aaric doesn't care about taking the throne, fully believing that he belongs on the battlefield. He was heavily involved in the war against the venin two years ago, helping the the dragon riders and gryphon fliers be victorious. However, venin aren't the only threats out there. Violet is a 24 year old officer in the military. She's 5'4 and slightly curvy with brown and silver hair in an ombre effect and amber eyes while being quite pretty. She's bonded to two dragons, a huge, black, morningstartail dragon named Tairneanach or Tairn for short and he's the second largest dragon, and an Irid Scorpian tall named Andarnaurram or Andarna for short. She has two signets due to having two dragons. Her signet from Tairn is lightning and from Andarna is dream walking. She's physically weak due to being very frail. Xaden is a 26 year old officer in the military. He's 6'5 and muscular with tanned skin, black wavy hair and onyx eyes while being quite handsome. He's bonded to Sgaeyl, a big, blue, Daggertail dragon. She gave him the signet of shadow wielding and he has a second signet as Sgaeyl bonded to his great grandfather. His second signet is to read people's intentions. He's Violet's husband of two years and they were both important to stopping the venin. He also became venin three years ago to save Violet but she found a cure for him. Some other important riders are Melgren, the military's general. Teachers at the college, Devera, Carr, Markam and Kaori. Rhiannon, Imogen, Ridoc, Sawyer, Dain, Avalynn, Lyx, Sloane are riders who are good friends. Garrick is Xaden's best friend, Bhodi is Xaden's cousin, Brennan and Mira are Violet's older siblings. Cat, Maren and Kai are fliers who are good friends. Drake his Cat's cousin and Mira's boyfriend while Serena, a flier, is Cat's older sister. Jesinia, is a scribe who is a good friend of Violet and Sawyer's friend. Sawyer lost his left lef in battle. There are other ways people got magic and they were seeking more power as well as other creatures were seeking power. Some people in Athelguard was gifted with ability to siphon magic from the earth without becoming venin. Members of Athelguard's military travelled to the continent of Amaralys to form an alliance with the United nations of Amaralys as it would benefit both continents in the next battle they were going to face.
