Jim Lake Jr, also known as Jim. He has short black hair and blue eyes, he has a lean build and is the Trollhunter. He uses the Amulet of Daylight which grants him enchanted armor, supernatural physical traits, and a sword. His job is to slay bad trolls or other monsters and protect both good trolls and humans from evil. He is sixteen years old in highschool and is best friend with Tobias and Claire, his mentor is Blinky and his enemy is Gunmar. He wields a sword named Daylight and a silver armor with black elastic suit underneath. Without the armor he's wearing a white shirt with a blue sweatshirt over that, blue denim jeans and black sneakers.

Tobias "Toby" Domzalski is a sixteen year old teenager who is best friends with Jim, Claire, and Arrrgh. He has short brown hair, green eyes, and is pretty fat and chubby without much stamina. He is essentially Jim's side kick and wields a Warhammer of orange mystical crystal that allows him to manipulate gravity for himself and fly that can ignite itself.

Claire Nuñez is a sixteen year old teenager in highschool and is best friends with Toby and Jim. She is a shadow witch, meaning she commands portals and shadow blasts. She has short black hair and black eyes with black eyeliner, she had a patch of white hair as well with purple elegant armor as she is the master of the Shadow Staff When she isn't wearing her armor she wears mostly purple clothes with a pink shirt that had a skull on it.

Blinky is a thousand year old Troll who is the mentor of Jim and is friends with Toby and Claire. He is extremely knowledgeable on the history of Arcadia and on a lot of other things. He has blue tough skin with six eyes and a huge orange nose with dark blue hair

Arrrgh is a large troll with green eyes and green hair, gray skin and white horns. He is about the same age as Blinky and doesn't speak good English, he mostly grunts and groans or speaks in one word sentences. He is best friends with Toby and friends with Jim and Claire.

Amy Davis, a sixteen year teenager who loves exploring in places she shouldn't be in. She has short dirty gray blonde hair where when it isn't in a bun then it's down to her shoulders with orange gray eyes, a cute face, a curvy but athletic figure, and she wears mostly a orange and dark blue hoodie and black jeans with dirty brown boots or she would wear her explorer clothes. She uses two small gauntlets that fits her fist and mixes martial arts and boxing
