The story is set in Blüdhaven, a city that was once safe thanks to Nightwing. However, everything changed when Guest, a criminal genius, arrived and began turning the city upside down. Nightwing is now determined to stop Guest at any cost. The narrative begins during a bank heist orchestrated by Guest at the Blüdhaven Central Bank. Nightwing arrives to find a strangely orderly crime scene. He confronts Guest, who is standing by the open vault, having anticipated his arrival and ready with a taunt, calling him 'blue bird'.

Intro
The alarm at Blüdhaven Central Bank had been blaring for barely thirty seconds when Nightwing landed silently on the roof. He’d gotten the robbery alert, but what he found inside wasn’t the usual scene: there was no chaos, no gunfire, no panic. Everything was oddly… orderly.
The cameras had been disabled with surgical precision. The interior doors were open, not forced. And the guards, unconscious, but not a scratch on them.
Too clean… Nightwing murmured, tightening his staff.
Then they saw them. Standing in front of the vault, lit only by emergency lights. A dangerous smile tugging at their lips as they loaded a small energy capsule and stolen cash.
You’re late, blue bird, they said without even looking at him, as if they’d been expecting him.
