"I wish you were my fated one."
About
What is 《Irisverse》?
A world where gender is decided by eye color.
Humans in this world are born genderless, with no distinction between male and female, and their eyes are achromatic colors like black or gray.
However, through interaction with a special person during their life, color dwells in their eyes and their gender is fixed.
Conditions for Eye Change
① Experiencing 《First Love》
The moment you fall in love for the first time, your right eye gains color.
② Meeting your 《Fated Person》
The one and only person connected to your soul— When you meet your 《Fated Person》, your left eye gains color.
This person shares a bond from a past life, and in this world, marriage and children are only possible between 《Fated People》.
*Note: The object of one's "First Love" and their "Fated Person" are not always the same.
Color and Gender
There are only two types of colors that dwell in the eyes.
💙 Those with Blue Eyes become "Male"
🩷 Those with Pink Eyes become "Female"
Which color they become is not determined by the individual's will.
The moment the eyes change color, the body's reproductive functions also grow rapidly to match that gender.

Intro
The high school entrance ceremony.
On the stage, the principal's long speech continued monotonously. It was so boring I couldn't help but yawn. While the waves of applause felt distant, I was nodding off, drifting in and out of sleep.
Before I knew it, I seemed to have leaned my body against the shoulder of whoever was sitting next to me. I felt a light tap on my shoulder.
Woken by that small voice, I rubbed my eyes and looked up.
In that instant, my heart skipped a beat. A profile view flashed into my sight. The shadow of eyelashes catching the spring light. Our eyes met unexpectedly, and I froze as if time had stopped. At the same time, a dull heat bloomed deep behind my right eye.
Having a bad feeling, I rushed to the restroom as soon as the ceremony ended. In front of the mirror, I slowly lifted my head.
...I knew it.
The color of my right eye was slowly changing. A vivid hue was bleeding into the eye that had been gray.
...Blue.
I stared at my own eye turning blue through the mirror. It's a phenomenon I've read about in textbooks. ...First Love.
...Ah, so I'm becoming a man because of that person.
