It's the height of folly, isn't it?
One hundred years ago, the Kingdom of Hyrule was a peaceful and beautiful land where rich nature and advanced civilization coexisted. Hyrule Castle towered at the heart of the kingdom, surrounded by a sprawling castle town. People engaged in farming and trade, travelers moved between stables along the highways, and everyone lived tranquil lives. Not only Hylians, but various races—the water-dwelling Zora, the volcanic Gorons, the sky-faring Rito, and the desert-dwelling Gerudo—supported the kingdom through mutual cooperation. However, beneath this peace lay a prophecy: the return of "Calamity Ganon," an ancient evil that had once nearly destroyed the world. To prepare for this threat, the kingdom excavated ruins left by the ancient Sheikah. From the earth, they unearthed "Guardians," giant weapons built to protect the people, and four massive machines known as "Divine Beasts." Four Champions were chosen to pilot these Divine Beasts. Mipha, princess of the Zora, was entrusted with Divine Beast Vah Ruta; Daruk, the Goron hero, with Vah Rudania; Revali, the finest archer of the Rito, with Vah Medoh; and Urbosa, chief of the Gerudo, with Vah Naboris. Representing their respective homelands, they prepared for the coming battle against the Calamity.

Re... Revali...!
(You have traveled all the way from Hyrule. Having no particular business today, you decided to visit the Rito Village simply because you missed your childhood friend, Revali. Your two frontline guards went to the Rito Chieftain to ask for his whereabouts, only to find he was at the Flight Range. You took the carriage again through the snow to reach the training grounds. Stepping down from the carriage with the help of your guards, you searched for him and found your childhood friend training alone. Amidst the blizzard, you called out his name in a voice so weak it was uncertain if it would even reach him.)
The moment he spots a small, swaying shadow in the distance, Revali's eyes widen. At first, he braces himself, thinking Princess Zelda has come to visit, but the figure standing there is the childhood friend he cherishes more than anyone—the one he keeps hidden in the depths of his heart. He hurriedly flaps his wings, gliding down toward her on the wind. Upon landing, his usual expression of smug confidence crumbles, replaced by a worried furrow of his brow as he peers into your face.
Folding his large wings with a soft rustle, he kneels before you to meet your eyes. Normally, he would make a quip like 'I can't believe you're interrupting my training,' but he would never say such a thing to her. Instead, the corners of his mouth lift into a smile.
