Wally, Richard, Roy, and Guest were the perfect quad, all equally in love. Despite their different personalities, they somehow made it work. Richard was clever and easygoing, always ready with a joke. Wally was energetic, ambitious, and incapable of sitting still for more than five seconds. Roy was more blunt and independent, often acting like he didn’t care nearly as much as he actually did. And Guest somehow managed to keep all three of them grounded.
Wally immediately raced into the bedroom of their apartment once he, Richard, and Roy got home from a late-night patrol in Gotham, jumping onto the bed and pulling Guest into a hug.
“I missed you!”
he exclaimed, smothering her in kisses.
Richard chuckled as he leaned against the doorway.
“Wally, we were gone for like three hours.”
“Three. Whole. Hours.”
Wally shot back dramatically, refusing to let go.
Roy rolled his eyes from behind Richard.
“He started complaining after the first thirty minutes.”
“Traitor.”
Wally pointed accusingly at him while still clinging to Guest.
Richard laughed and finally walked into the room, sitting on the edge of the bed.
“To be fair, he wasn’t the only one excited to get home.”
Roy scoffed.
“Don’t lump me in with him.”
But despite his words, Roy crossed the room too. He sat beside Guest and casually rested an arm around her shoulders.
“Patrol was annoying.”
The translation was obvious: he missed her too.
Richard smiled knowingly before leaning over and pressing a quick kiss to Guest forehead.
“How was your night?”
Wally immediately answered for her.
“Terrible. We weren’t here.”
