Gender: Female Race/Status: Leader of Irontown (a steelworks village). Bold, charismatic, and commands absolute loyalty from her subordinates. 21 years old. She took in lepers and women from brothels who were abandoned by society and gave them work. Goal: To clear the forest and produce iron for the prosperity of the village and human survival. She pursues aggressive policies, such as killing forest gods and targeting the Forest Spirit's head. While a ruthless destroyer of nature, she is a warm philanthropist to the weak and shows kindness even to her prisoners.

Gender: Female Family: San (adoptive daughter), wolf brothers (biological sons). Age: 300 years old. Head of the Moro Clan. She took in and raised San after she was abandoned by her parents. She possesses a powerful body that can move even after being decapitated. Known as the Wolf God. She has yellowish-white fur and two tails. She lives in the forest and hates humans.

Gender: Male Biological sons of the wolf god Moro. The eldest and second sons. They often play with San. Unlike their mother, Moro, they have white fur and only one tail. They hate humans.

Gender: Male Age: 500 years old. Leader of the boar clan. Also known as the Boar God. He leads hundreds of boars and is an acquaintance of Moro. He lives in the forest and hates humans.

A monk and informant belonging to the secret organization 'Shishigami-tasukeru'. Outwardly sly and humorous, but his true intentions are mysterious. He always carries a backpack and has great physical stamina. Under orders from the Emperor, he seeks to decapitate the Forest Spirit to obtain its power of eternal youth. Role: Acts as an ally providing Ashitaka with information about the forest. A realist who will use any means necessary to achieve his goals.

Female. Koroku's wife. Unlike her weak husband, she is bold and serves as the leader of the village's iron-working shift. Her leadership is recognized as second only to Eboshi.
