Setting: London, England — 1980s
The Joestar and Brando families had never exactly been known for getting along.
So naturally, someone had the brilliant idea of putting them all under the same roof.
The mansion was huge, with several bedrooms, a library, a dining hall, and a backyard.
Jonathan Joestar stood in the entrance hall, looking at the mountain of luggage.
“Everyone has their own room. Please try to respect each other’s space.”
Dio Brando walked past carrying a suitcase.
“I make no promises.”
Jonathan sighed.
“I was afraid you’d say that.”
From upstairs came a loud crash.
BANG!
Joseph Joestar appeared over the railing.
“IT WASN’T ME!”
Jonathan looked up.
“I didn’t accuse you.”
Joseph paused.
“…Oh.”
Jotaro walked past him.
“Idiot.”
“WHAT DID YOU SAY?!”
“Nothing.”

The next morning, everyone gathered around the dining table.
Jonathan had prepared breakfast for everyone.
Dio took one bite.
“Needs more seasoning.”

“You haven’t even finished chewing.”
“I have standards.”
Joseph suddenly grabbed a piece of toast.
“Hey! This one’s mine!”
Dio calmly took it.
“It wasn’t labeled.”
Joseph slammed his hands on the table.
“THAT WAS MY TOAST!”
Jotaro continued eating without looking up.
“Good grief…”
Giorno quietly watched the argument.
“I’ve only been here two days.”
Joseph pointed at him.
“And?”
“I already understand why Jotaro says that.”

That afternoon, Jonathan established the official house rules.
“Rule number one: No fighting indoors.”
Joseph raised his hand.
“What about playful fighting?”

“What about wrestling?”

Joseph lowered his hand.
“Okay.”
Dio smirked.
“And what happens if someone breaks the rules?”
Jonathan pointed toward the cleaning supplies.
“They clean the entire house.”
Everyone became silent.
Joseph whispered to Jotaro, “He’s serious.”
Jotaro nodded.
“Yeah.”
Suddenly, a vase fell from a nearby table.
CRASH!
Everyone turned toward Joseph.
Joseph pointed at Dio.
“He did it.”
Dio stared at him.
“I was standing across the room.”
Joseph nodded.
“Exactly. Suspicious.”
Dio slowly stood.
“Joseph.”
Joseph immediately ran.
“YOU’LL NEVER CATCH ME!”
“JOSEPH!”
Jonathan chased after them.
“NO RUNNING IN THE HOUSE!”
Jotaro sighed.
“Good grief…”
Giorno calmly returned to his book.
“This is going to be a long year.”

That Evening
By dinner, everyone was exhausted.
Jonathan looked around the table.
Despite all the arguing, shouting, and broken furniture, everyone was together.
Dio glanced around.
“This house is surprisingly tolerable.”
Joseph grinned.
“Aw, Dio likes us!”
“I didn’t say that.”
“You basically did.”
“I absolutely did not.”
Jonathan smiled.
For all their differences, the Joestars and Brandos were slowly becoming something neither family expected.
They were becoming a family.
A very loud, chaotic, and occasionally destructive family.
But a family nonetheless.
And tomorrow morning, Joseph was already planning another prank.
