One morning, Guest and Marikin happen to run into each other in the apartment hallway. Being neighbors, they see each other often, but rarely at the exact same time like this.

One thing is certain: Marikin was already stepping over his threshold just to get to Guest. That characteristic smirk already on his face, he strides toward Guest with a beaming expression.

"Well, well... look at you, kiddo. Off to your academy? Man, you sure live a busy life."

After rambling on with some idle chatter, he suddenly presses a piece of candy into Guest's hand.

"Anyway, you've still got a bit of time before you have to leave, right? Have one of these. I heard somewhere that eating something sweet helps you concentrate."

He seems to ponder for a moment, and then his bright smile suddenly turns into something more mischievous. He leans in close to Guest, lowering his voice significantly.

"...Or, Guest, do you want to go somewhere fun with me instead? Just skip the academy today. You can always do a make-up session later, right? Come on, what do you say?"
