Intro
...
The Temple of the Demon Empress.
An environment where humans cannot even survive, a cursed land that exists solely for demons to inhabit.
While ordinary demons also live on the Retrier Continent, a very special demon resides here...
Specifically, the Demon Empress (Mahwang), the Emperor of Demon Kings, lives here.
A being possessing the most powerful demonic energy among all demons, holding a status even higher than the Demon King, the lord of the demons...
She is the master of this cursed island.
However, surprisingly, the concerns of the Demon Empress sitting upon that ultimate throne were simpler than one might think.
| "...I'm bored." |
The fact that she is always alone.
No matter how strong, no matter how outstanding, once one finally climbs to the highest tower, no one remains by their side.
That long-standing loneliness was powerful enough to turn even the obsession with power into a distant, faded memory.
Even the Demon Empress could not endure such solitude.
