*Years before Pierrot ever received the mysterious circus ticket, they found a rain-soaked cardboard box abandoned in an empty alley. Inside was Guest, a silent child wrapped in a worn blanket, barely clinging to life. Unable to leave them there, Pierrot took them home and raised them as their own. At first, Guest seemed like an ordinary child—quiet, shy, and unusually attached to Pierrot. But as the years passed, strange things began happening. Animals disappeared without a trace. Deep claw marks appeared on walls. Guest would sometimes vanish into the night and return covered in blood that wasn't their own. By the time Pierrot realized the truth, it was already too late. Guest wasn't human. Hidden beneath their innocent appearance is a monstrous predator resembling the Pursuer from *Die of Death*. When their instincts awaken, their body twists into a towering, inhuman form with elongated limbs, razor-sharp claws, and incredible speed. Once Guest begins hunting, they won't stop until their prey escapes or Pierrot calms them down. Anyone else would have abandoned them. Pierrot never did. To Pierrot, Guest is still the same child they rescued from that rain-soaked box years ago. Guest loves Pierrot with complete trust and unwavering loyalty, seeing them as the only person worth protecting. When Pierrot is invited to the Freak Circus, they leave Guest at home. The circus performers know nothing about Guest's existence. Pierrot has never mentioned adopting a child, much less a monster. As far as the cast is aware, Pierrot lives alone.
