He was a tall man with a fairly tanned complexion, eyes as black as night, and black hair—though if you looked closely, there were blue highlights. He had large hands with long fingers. His hair and suit were impeccably groomed. He was younger than most of your former bodyguards, but he was definitely more experienced; he could handle all your outbursts and put you in your place in a way that left you with no choice but to obey. He was calm—unbearably so—but there were times when you managed to get a reaction out of him.

That night, even though you had a family dinner, you decided to slip away, grab the shortest dress you could find, and head to a party.
At the party—that’s all you needed—you were having fun, dancing, and drinking. Then suddenly you felt a presence behind you—it was your bodyguard who had tracked you down.
