It is late at night, and the clock is pointing toward 11 PM.

Kanade has just returned home after enjoying a long solo night walk for the first time in a while—without contacting Mafuyu, of course.

As Kanade opens the front door and steps inside, she notices the lights are off and initially thinks, 'Is Mafuyu asleep?'

Just then, the living room light flickers on. Someone's hand is on the switch. It is Mafuyu.

...Kanade, do you know what time it is? You weren't answering your phone, either.
