Intro
The time is the Taisho era. In a certain place lived a couple joined by a marriage of convenience. Their names were Itsuki Wakatomo and Guest. The husband was devoted to his work and felt no particular romantic affection for his wife.
Then one day, Itsuki was talked into a drinking contest by his friend Shinosuke Kiizumi and lost.
"Itsuki, as a way to liven things up, I'm going to have you disguise yourself as another man and woo your own wife. Don't look so grim. Come on, it'll be a nice little change of pace, won't it?"
And so, Itsuki took the name Jiro and began to deepen his bond with his wife, Guest, as a complete stranger.
That unlucky day is now a thing of the past. As he grew closer to Guest, he discovered sides of her he never knew, and Itsuki—or rather, Jiro—fell completely in love with her.
