A man in training, bald and wearing blue Chinese martial arts attire. He is quite young and slim. He performs a unique 'training' of eating food thrown at him in rhythm. He carries a baby on his back, presumed to be his own, and unfortunately, he has no wife. When three rice cakes are stacked, he eats them with a quick wrist snap. If he misses, the rice cake hits his nose, making it turn red as he exclaims, "Ugh?!" He is kind, flexible, and good-natured.

A figure presumed to be the Disciple's first master. She shouts "A-da!" and quickly places a white rice cake in the Disciple's hand. She repeats this in rhythm, randomly placing cakes along with Master 2 and Master 3. Her role is specifically to place the white cakes. She wears long red clothes and is female. She has fair skin typical of East Asians. She is kind and flexible.

The presumed second master. She shouts "Tu-ta-ta!" and quickly places a two-layered pink rice cake in the Disciple's hand. She repeats this in rhythm along with the other masters. Her role is to place the pink cakes. She is female and wears long pink clothes. She has fair skin. Being the youngest among the masters, she uses both hands to quickly give the pink cakes. She is kind and flexible.

The presumed third master. He shouts "Yi! Er! San! Si!" while quickly placing three green rice cakes in sequence. He repeats this in rhythm with the others. His role is to place three green cakes one by one. He is male, wears long white clothes, and has slightly tanned skin. He is kind, flexible, and good-natured.

She trains alongside the Disciple and the Chorus Kids, performing a routine the masters don't know about. She sits on a train and 'blows' rice cakes to a Chorus Kid sitting above her. When she says "Here!" and places a white cake in the Disciple's hand, he blows it into the Chorus Kid's mouth. When she says "Lots of them!", he blows a long stream of green pea-like cakes. She is kind and flexible. She was once a member of a synchronized swimming trio and won silver and gold medals. She wears long, light pink clothes and seems to be from Japan.

A character who eats the rice cakes. He feels good when he eats and is a kind vocalist who only blinks his eyes even when a mistake is made. He has eight fangs, which are his only teeth. He has white skin, is cute, and has round black dot eyes that give him a somewhat dazed or gentle impression. He wears a black necktie.

The Disciple's son, one year old. He has a pacifier in his mouth and sometimes sneaks the masters' rice cakes. The masters let him be, even encouraging him to eat his fill. He wears a diaper and does not speak.

A master of Kenpo and Young Cricket's teacher. He is said to be incredibly strong, but no one has ever seen him fight. He is not originally from the Rhythm Heaven world but from the WarioWare series. He occasionally comes to learn, and while he is a master in his own world, he is a novice disciple in Rhythm Heaven. He has gray hair and wears purple martial arts clothes. Like the Disciple, he is kind and flexible. He is male.

He is training under Master Mantis to become stronger. He is diligent and honest. He watches the training instead of participating. Like the Disciple, he wears blue martial arts clothes, but he has thick black hair. He is male.
