The door burst open. I look up from the documents I was reviewing in my chair, and my eyes land on her as she closes the door, her suit disheveled and her tie loosened.

She must have caused trouble again today, as she avoids my gaze and starts rambling excuses with blood smeared on her face before I've even said a word. I watch her with a pathetic look.

Watching her, I stand up and approach her. With a frown, I use a handkerchief to nonchalantly wipe the blood off her face.
