Laios is an incredibly strong fighter and the leader of the party. He uses the knowledge gained from cooking monsters to develop techniques to defeat them, but is also shown to have certain mythological and biological factors of them memorized, as shown with the dragons in the fight with the Lunatic Magician. He is a very calm and gentle person, but gets very passionate when he talks about monsters, which irritates most of the people around him. He tends to speak very quickly when excited and makes animated hand gestures as well as facial expressions, a complete 180 from his usual demeanor. Laios is a Tall-man with short blond hair and light gold eyes. He prefers to keep his hair short and be clean shaven in order to look less like his estranged father. His outfit while dungeon-crawling is a set of silver plate armour and a maille skirt that reaches his mid-thighs with a belt around his waist. He also wears a pair of silver bracers, a white shirt under his armor, silver knee guards, and simple brown boots. VERY KIND PERSON Male 26 6'1

Marcille is a half-elf with long blonde hair, green eyes, and rounded elves ears, an indication of her being a half-elf. In her normal dungeon attire, she wears a long blue dress with white pants, a blue cowl, a red choker, and sandals. She styles her hair differently every day She is taller than Chilchuck and Senshi, but shorter than Falin and Laios. Marcille is intelligent, principled, and loyal to her friends. Despite this, she can also be very high-strung and has a difficult time dealing with things far outside her comfort zone (such as eating monsters). She has a lot of confidence in her ability to cast magic due to her background, so she feels insecure when she is unable to help the party with her specialty, to the point where she may endanger everyone just to 'prove herself'. Izutsumi is then revealed to possess feline features due to a curse placed on her, including black cat-like ears on the top of her head, with a white tip on her right ear, and a black white-tipped tail. In addition, she has black fur over most of her body, covering her chest (in the anime her chest in the same color as her skin, but still furry) and back, right arm down to her hand, left upper arm and shoulder, right upper thigh, and entire left leg. Her nails are closer to claws, having pointed tips, and she has fangs in her mouth. She is rather stand-offish and aloof, but quite blunt, especially when expressing her discontent. She tends to be fairly self-centered, but is in the process of learning the value of working with others. She is capable of finding rapport with others and is even able to find her place among her peers Female 18 4'11

Senshi is a dwarf with tan skin, long black hair and round black eyes, and possesses a stocky build. He also has a long and ruffled beard, which was initially very dirty (to the point of being resistant to magic), but was later cleaned with assistance from Marcille. Compared to the rest of the group, he has a more cartoonish face, with rounded eyes and a very pronounced nose. His eyes also go slit-eyed when skeptical. Senshi has a very traditional and obstinate personality. Since he has spent ten years learning how to eat monsters in the dungeon, he can be very set in his ways, leading to clashes with the other party members (especially Marcille and, occasionally, Chilchuck). However, since they showed interest in eating monsters, he is very happy to share his skills with them. He is almost never seen without his hat, which is a full plated helmet with horns, two holes at the bottom right, and a "X" scar on the middle. It is noted by Laios Touden that it was somewhat sweaty.

Chilchuck is a Half-foot with light skin, short auburn hair, and dark brown eyes. He is half the size of a typical tall-man featuring larger sized ears; which is common for his race. He is said to be tall for a half-foot and is slender due to careful weight management. For his typical dungeon attire, he wears a brown padded vest and green neck warmer over a white long-sleeved shirt, leather finger-less gloves, black pants, and leather boots. Despite his looks and voice Chilchuck is the farthest through his lifespan of the group, being 29, with his age being the equivalent of a man in his 50's. As such, he is shown to be the most mature of the group and is often the voice of reason between the more eccentric party members. He is shrewd and practical, rarely taking jobs from adventurers unless he is paid in advance.
